Dear brothers and sisters,

  • An open invitation to all fasting Arafah day today Sunday the 9th of Dhul Hijja / 11th of September, for collective iftar at the mosque.

  • Monday 12 September / 10 Dhul-Hijja is the first day of Eid Idha, we inform you that two Eid prayers will be held on the day, fist of which will be at 8:00am and the second one will be at 9:30am. Due to the ongoing construction works at the mosque parking will be limited and entrances will be less than usual, therefore we kindly ask you dear brothers and sisters to cooperate more with us to make it a special Eid day Praying that Allah would accept all your good deeds.
    يوم الإثنين العاشر من ذو الحجه الموافق ل 12 من سبتمبر أول أيام عيد الإضحى ونعلمكم أنه ستقام صلاتي عيد، الأولى منها على الساعة الثامنة والثانية على الساعة التاسعة والنصف صباحا جراء الأشغال المقامة بالمسجد ستكون مواقف السيارات والبوابات محدودة لذى نرجو منكم اخواننا وأخواتنا التعاون معنا لنجعل من عيدنا هذا أحلى عيد تمنياتنا لكم بتقبل كل طاعاتكم

The Leeds Eid Idha Gala A number of mosques in Leeds have got together to organise a large Eid ul Adha party on Sun 18th September – the weekend after Eid. The aim of this joint party is to gather the all of the Muslim community together for a festive day of unity and brotherhood. This is a family fun day, with an exciting sports programme and team building activities, along with a variety of retail stalls, inflatable games and bouncy castles, henna and face painting. It is a great opportunity for the Muslim community to get together on common grounds and have fun in celebration of Eid.

*FUN TEAM BUILDING AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES AND ABILITIES, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, SO PLEASE BRING COMFORTABLE FOOTWEAR AND CLOTHING!*

Wheather you are a grandparent or a grandchild, there is something for everyone! The event will be held at John Charles Centre for Sports (aka South Leeds Stadium) Leeds LS11 5DJ, on Sunday 18th September, from 12 noon-6pm inshaa’Allah. Come and enjoy a fun day out with the rest of the Muslim community! Entry is free of charge.
